I grew up in Trussville, AL right outside of Birmingham, AL. . . kind of a small town, but not so much anymore.  I am 26 years old, and I have 2 older sisters 5 and 7 years a part from me. . . my parents are amazing.  My dad is an athlete so I give him credit for my athleticism.  I grew up playing every sport my dad would throw me in.  Somewhere along the way I got interested in music.  I learned how to play guitar in 9th grade and that took off from there.  I led worship all throughout high school and then into my college years where I attended the University of Alabama.  I played tennis at a Junior College my freshman year and then transferred to Alabama.  I got involved in Campus Crusade at college and led worship there for 3 years.  I always wanted to pursue music, so when I graduated in Dec '07 I moved to Nashville, so I have been here since then. . . almost 3 years in January.  So here in Nashville I lead worship for Inversion on Thursday nights at 7, which is Fellowship Bible Church's singles/college ministry.  I also lead for a church body on Sunday morning near Huntsville, AL.  Since music is still getting going and have a few songs of mine cut by artists I work part time at a smoothie shop called 9 Fruits.  The flexibility gives me time to write and pursue music when I'm not working.  I have a passion for people and for them to see the gospel of Christ in my life. . . what else do you need?

I started playin' music while I was attending the University of Kentucky.  I’ve spent the better part of the last five years trying to make it in the music business. I’ve sacrificed money, relationships, family time, stability, jobs, and especially my social life. It’s been a very long and often frustrating road for me. I’ve been so focused on becoming a success that I’ve almost forgotten how to enjoy life. And with a couple of bad music deals and a failed radio single, I’m still not a success in this business. On the other hand, I have learned a lot from my failures and short comings over the last five years. My many struggles have made me a better human being.

Maybe it’s because I am growing up. Maybe it’s because I experience heartache and heartbreak. Or maybe it’s because I often feel emptiness inside from choices I’ve made while pursuing my chosen career path. But I can honestly say that I now appreciate my life, family, friends, and health much more than I did before I set my heart on being successful in the music business. Through all my sacrifices and losses I have learned to appreciate life a lot more. Everyday I become less paralyzed by my fears and insecurities. I try to cherish each moment as if it’s my last and my music reflects this positive attitude.

I have changed my outlook on the often frustrating road I’m traveling. My dreams and goals are still the destination. However, now I see this road as my journey. So nothing will stop me from enjoying this ride and I’m going to have the time of my life! I will take chances, be a better friend, be a better lover, be a better son, and the list goes on! I challenge you to live this way and remember it’s about your journey not your destination. Live life to the fullest and enjoy your ride because; It’s not where your goin it’s How You Go!

I was born and raised in Worcester, MA in 1985. I am the second youngest of 4 children and have 2 brothers and 1 sister. I moved to and grew up in the small town of New London, NH where I spent free time hiking, skiing, and relaxing by the lake. I went to the University of New Hampshire and graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management. I spent 3 years bouncing around in various management positions at the Wentworth by the Sea hotel on the Atlantic coast of New Hampshire. In the fall of 2009 I was offered a job as General Manager of the Holiday Inn Express at the Airport and thus moved to Nashville. My job allows me opportunity to meet people from all walks of life, participate in events like this, and travel the world. I love living in the moment and doing things that make me feel free and exhilarated. Of all the things I miss about living near the ocean, surfing would have to top the list.

Michael Meidinger

Born in Sacramento, California in 1973. Both of my parents were in the Navy so I moved around often with them. I have lived in quite a few states and I have travelled them all. By trade I am a Professional Truck Driver which keeps me in excellent physical shape being a flatbedder I have to use straps and chains often. The job pays great and is always a new adventure everyday. I am also a skilled mechanic, carpenter and tattoo artist which I still do but only to a select few. I enjoy all types of music and art. I am not so much into conventional sports as I am into more extreme adrenalin pumping activities: mountain climbing, repelling, cave exploring, etc. I have a very high respect for women and like to treat them as a gentleman should. I am very spontaneous and always in search of the next adventure. No matter where I am I can always find something fun and exciting to get into. All I am missing is someone to enjoy it with. So come to the event, get to know me and ask anything you want. I would be glad to talk to you. Life is an adventure, live it to the fullest!

I am a 28 year old fireman who has worked for Murfreesboro Fire Department for 6 years. I've also been an EMT-IV for 4 years. I started my own business 5 years ago called Absolute Lawn Services. I've always beleived that "if you love what you do then you'll never work a day in your life." Some of my hobbies are exercising, fishing, UT football season, and road trips. I enjoy spending time with friends and my 3 year old daughter. This charity hits home to me because my cousin was a wounded Marine in Afghanistan where his Hum-V was hit with a road side I.E.D. My brother is currently serving as a Marine and will be leaving for Afghanistan in March. I am glad to be a part of the auction!
